This award winning modern Sunshine Coast vernacular architecture home was commissioned for drafting. Originally to be home office on the lower level with additional carparking for staff with a residence above.

I created a unique one off house plan to allow the client to future-proof the home, allowing it to be easier to sell one day in the future. The house plan was versatile and multi-use enough to convert, at no additional expense, into a granny flat/master suite/ teenage retreat or separate guest accommodation (or even a air bnb or somewhere for aging parents to live). Although its original function was perfectly suited to 2 offices with kitchen and bathroom facilities with separate entrance.

Upstairs you will find a very open plan high ceiling living area encompassing in one large room, kitchen/dining/lounge space, with sweeping views from Buderim looking at the Sunshine Coast hinterland back to Mount Coolum.  With its north facing aspect and moderate slope it was simple to create large spacious balconies to bring in the outdoors making you feel like you are floating above the hinterland itself.

The client was pleased with the 3d building design models produced by revit throughout the building design process here on the Sunshine Coast and also the builder whom we took out the HIA home of the year award.
