Studio 4 was commissioned by a local builder on the Sunshine Coast to design a display house that would fit on a standard Peregian Springs block (infact, most master planned communities around the Sunshine Coast e.g. Aura etc are on 14m wide blocks). The builder was after a house plan which would allow him to sell house and land packages on the Sunshine Coast, such as Stockland’s estates and others.
I came up with a house plan for an innovative fresh young family home where the living flows directly to the outside kitchen and pool. You can watch the children in the pool from every angle. The master bedroom has a large space with ensuite and the exterior facade has good street appeal, all with a budget price.
This house plan was flexible enough to fit on wider or narrower blocks using multiple sets of the same plan just widening the rooms. Appealing to the masses, this single storey house on a budget gives you bang for your buck.
