Studio 4 was commissioned for the second time by a local builder to do additional building design works on the same house. The first time was back in the early 2000’s then again as his family and budget grew.  We transformed this quaint Peregian Beach house, designing a modern family friendly entertaining masterpiece.

The house started off as a 1970’s small retro shack. Our house design extended onto the original house and converted what was once a kitchen into a butlers pantry and converted the existing living into an opulent kitchen and entertaining space expected in homes today.  The design also included an addition of a light filled upper media/living room. By including this upper level in the home design, the client gained fantastic ocean views and the use of louvers allowed him to let the summer breezes through.

To the rear of the property a large art gallery and dining space was created on the second level containing a new master bedroom ensuite suite.   Under the house became two additional car spaces.   In addition to the rear extension we connected a new outdoor living area to the large yard, to outlook and watch the children play.  This deck addition had a spa and outdoor kitchen with stepping stone deck platforms softly transitioning the upper deck to the yard, inviting you to join our lovely QLD outdoors spaces.
